2020 Cabernet Franc

This is our last Cabernet Franc from the White Gate block of the Villa Vallecito vineyard overlooking New Melones Reservoir. Sadly, this vineyard has been taken out to make room for a Cannabis farm. Too bad, considering our 2019 Cab Franc recently took a Double Gold Medal (one of only 4) at the 2023 International Cabernet Franc Competition recently! The climate is perfect here, with an early growing season and enough warmth to fully ripen this varietal. Perfect for one of our favorite dishes...Ribeye Steak with sage brown butter...
